Aozora Community (“Aozora” means blue sky in Japanese) is an educational and cultural non-profit organization (501c (3)) located in Brooklyn, NY.
They have the vision to foster a community of curious, open-minded and caring global citizens. As Brooklyn’s only Japanese and English bilingual school, their mission is to provide quality education rooted in Japanese values, morals, and spirit. As part of that mission they create programs and events for people to connect, share resources and celebrate one another.
Aozora Preschool is the only Japanese and English bilingual preschool in Brooklyn. They foster a caring and supportive multicultural learning environment in which children and families learn and grow. They believe that learning itself is a joyful experience, and that one’s intrinsic drive for learning is the key to their well-being and happiness.
